Help reading Thermal Cutoffs, Cutouts (TCO) over I2C

Recommended Posts

I've got a thermal cutoffs, cutouts (TCO) http://www.kynix.com/Detail/5750/EYP1BF168.html sensor connected to the I2C bus; the Python code below is almost working - I'm initializing and reading from the sensor, however, my list is filling up with the exact same byte in all 35 elements of the list. I think I'm getting the first sensor value read in each list element. It seems that I should be able to just read bytes boom, boom, boom, one after another after the device is written to; but I'm getting seemingly invalid sensor data. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. There must be some small detail that I'm missing. Thanks much in advance for your help!
